A not-so-boring summer without BPL

The football season might have ended, but there is no lacking of off pitch actions. . . Transfer speculations go on and on and fascinate us everyday.

It had fast become a laughing stock. The long winded transfer saga, lasted for 2 years, finally comes to an end. SAF's decision to sell cristiano ronaldo to real madrid not at all surprised me, i saw that coming all the way.

By all means, he is one of the most talented football player on the planet, he had collected all the possible silverwares and individual accolades with manchester united. Nevertheless, may be the time has come for him to part with us.

Hey trust me, it is not necessarily a sore loss for us, it may well be not the best idea for ronaldo to leave old trafford either.

A statement goes like this "No players can worth more than a club". Think twice. . . SAF certainly knows the value of a great player, that is why he making up his mind to do business with real madrid. £80 M is a huge amount, or 'vulgar fee' according to sir bobby charlton. Oh man, almost can buy newcastle FC...

Lets hope the money received from ronaldo's transaction can be entirely reinvested into the squad, and not for debt clearing purpose. With this newly found transfer budget, i guess at least 2 world class players can be purchased.

In addition, rooney wont be not shrouded by ronaldo anymore, now he is the central figure of old trafford. He can move back to the central striking role instead of flank position and shows what he can do when playing with england. ROONEY WILL BE THE NEW KING OF MANCHESTER UNITED!!!

As far as ronaldo's concern, moving on might provide new motivation to play football, but keep in mind, manchester united was built around him, his teammates were willing to sacrifise to give him enough space and opportunities to score goals.

Bernabeau dressing room as usual, is always hugely inflated with ego. Can it accomodate another player with big ego? Only time will tell. One thing is for sure, ronaldo is only one of the real madrid expensive purchases, the likes of raul, robben, higuain, kaka etc wont selflessly assist his egoism to bag goals.

On the other hand, i was kinda sad to see tevez leave us. Be frankly, it was very surprising that tevez rejected the lucrative contract offered to him. Before this i still kept the faint hope that tevez will stay with us. >.<

All these leave the massive void for SAF to fill at the frontline after the departure of two influential players. An uphill task. . . but we believe in SAF, dont we?

In short, Im glad that manchester united no1 ( may be BPL no 1 ) prima donna will be leaving us soon. Anyway, all the best to tevez and mr ronaldo =D
